Lake Waubesa

The third in the Yahara chain of lakes as the Yahara River flows south from Lake Monona through Upper Mud Lake. The watershed has a mix of urban and rural land use. Lake Waubesa is 2,080 acres with a maximum depth of 34’. There are three county parks (Babcock, McDaniel and Lake Farm) that surround much of the lake along with 15 miles of shoreline.
